Fool me once

I never learn. I'm allergic to cats and dogs. I also love cats and dogs and will play with them even though I'll be sneezing and itching afterwards. I'm also allergic to food by brisim. I can eat cereal with milk at home. I can eat cheese, eggs, fish, coffee, I even eat raw fish and home made cured salmon and yet almost every time I go to a bris, I get indigestion. It can be bad or mild but it's almost always there. What I can't figure out is is it something in particular or is it a combination of things.

Today we had a bris in shul and as always I set down to eat. Yep, I never learn. And again I left the shul feeling bleh. I had karate right after the bris. I didn't want to skip, however I made sure not to bring the sparring gear and to come late enough to miss the warm up. It wasn't too bad though I was spacing out and messed up the kata. Will I eat by a bris next time? I sure will.

  1. Could it be sympathetic pains?

  2. Could be, considering the Kedem crap that the baby usually gets. That would explain why didn't happen by my kid's bris where I brought my own wine.

  3. I think 'commercial food' is the name of this particula indigestion. And yes, we never learn.

  4. Well, pretty much all the food is same as I eat at home...

  5. There is this whole new thing with allergy free dogs... You should really go to rich pplz houses and play with their pets there ;)... ofcourse that will only work if they bought one of those genetically engineered like pets recently.

  6. I just realized that my comment made no sense... I didn't mean they had to have bought the genetically engineered pet recently, just that its a recent thing, so therefore they had to buy the pet recently and also have it be a genetically engineered (or whatever they call it for pets) pet as well

  8. yea...those thigns are ugly!!

but with dogs ( I don't know about cats) they actually have a few breeds that they make allergy free. My uncle was telling me all about it. This is just something i found.

  11. That's why I said you should hang out at rich people's houses, to play with their pets. :)

  12. well, my uncle was dog-sitting one of those doggies, if he ever does that again, and brings him over to my house, I'll totally let you know. :)...though I doubt that will happen.

I'll be on a look out for other rich people. or acquaintances of rich people who do favors and dog/cat sit... :)

  13. Too much work.
I was thinking of getting a rat or a guinea pig, preferably rat, but wife don't like rats. If I drag her to pay store she prob would start to like them though...

  14. When I was younger, I had a friend that had a pet rat. very cute creature. Was white and small...not like those ugly grey big ones you see running on the train tracks.

Anyway, I was playing with it...poor rat was scared, ran up my sleeve and scratched me.. boy did that hurt.

I'd buy a bunny :-). a white one, and call it snowball...cuz I'm so original like that. lol. Though I'm sure bunnies scratch too. lol

  15. Moshe: about the Bris I would think its because of what you see happens to the baby, its like surgery, it can make you loose your appetite and then also what subwife said, sympathy pains. I remember one time I went to a Bris and then I looked, I was in 6th grade then, and I felt faint afterwards and came to class late that day and I remember my excuse was that I went to a Bris and I got nauseous from the blood.

I've never heard of engineered animals before. That would be really cool if they can genetically engineer them so that they can't bark and can't bite, then I won't have to be afraid of them.

  16. Nah, I like blood and stuff like that.

You can't gen-engineer them to not bite or bark. And why are you afraid of them? Most bark when they're happy and most don't bite.

  17. o, well.
Yea, I know most don't bite. But the fact that they can't communicate, makes it a fear of the unknown kinda thing. That I dunno what they will do next. I can't talk common sense into them.

  18. So start with cats and kittens and puppies. Most that they can do is gum you and it's very cute, though very bad for their behavior.

  19. Yea, so I'm ok with cats when I see them in the street, I won't cross the street to get away from them, I'll walk right by them, cause I'm used to them, same with pigeons.

    What's bad for their behavior?

btw, cute pics of your kid, can't tell if its 2 separate kids, or all pics of the same one.

  20. I'll cross the street to pet them and so will my kid.
It's bad to let kittens and puppies bite you because no matter how cute it is, they'll keep on doing it when they're older and have teeth.

Where do you see other pics of my kid? FB?

  21. About the biting, that I can relate to, that's the same with kids. It may be cute when they say a word they are not supposed to, but then its bad cause it encourages them and they will say it when they get older too and say it in the wrong places.

Through your website. One of the links. I just went through a few. Don't know what your facebook name is.

  22. you're not allergic to bris food, as indigestion is not a clinical sign of an allergic reaction.
