What is porn

Talking about Quantum of Solace:

(10:51:57 AM) [friend]: i'll hope you'll enjoy it. If you like car chases and jumping stunts you'll like it
(10:52:42 AM) virwulf: i like parkour, district b13
(10:53:13 AM) [friend]: there were too little seduction scenes for my liking
(10:54:01 AM) virwulf: u heard of porn, right?
(10:54:17 AM) [friend]: no, what's that?
(10:56:08 AM) virwulf: it's when a man and a woman or 2 or more women or a woman and a couple of men or a man and a couple of women love each other very, very much and want to show everyone how much they love each other

  1. From here we learn that porn equals marriage, as it is said: Marriage is between a man and a woman.

Quantum of Solace was awesome - good action, quite dark, plus a nice side of actually thinking about the political issues. I do like a Bond that isn't silly.

  2. Dude, you liked the previous Bond which had nothing to do with Bond. No gadgets and other than the first 5 minutes, no action. I thought you liked it because of the female lead, but after the first half of the movie she turned into some sheep, bleh.

  3. No, I didn't like it specifically because of the female lead, even though she was much better than the usual suspects in that genre. See, I don't like the usual Bond - I find them silly, cheesy, and not particularly funny. On the other hand, I can appreciate a good action/spy movie; and I think anything remotely claiming to approximate real life in that genre will have to be dark.

  6. JDJ- "Dude" is now officially unisex. At least, by teenage standards.

I *loved* Casino Royale, and really enjoyed QOS. I find the direction that the Bond series has taken with the last two films very refreshing. So I guess I agree with Dina!

I had a co-worker who called everyone bro.

  8. Not to mention the fact that our esteemed Rabbi, in the course of conducting the women's shiur, never fails to address us as "Gentlemen." But, could be Moshe does think I look like a man - perhaps the sort of man that looks like a woman?
