CafePress - Pole Bearer

Always stuck holding up the chuppah while your friends are getting married? Sure, it's an honor, but how about honoring you with the bride's sister or best friend instead.

Goyim have "Always the bridesmaid, never the bride."
Here's my Jewish version, "Always the Pole Bearer, Never the Corpse."

    By funerals, there are pallbearers. There's also a joke about bride wearing white because she's starting a new life while groom's wearing black because his life's ending.
    Chosson's friends who are holding up the chuppah are pole bearers, and he's the corpse.
