Blogger labels are case sensitive

Blogger labels are case sensitive regardless of how they are displayed. If you mouse over the label, you'll see that the label in the link is actually case sensitive. If you are linking externally using labels, make sure your link has the correct case.

To change the case of a label, edit post, delete label, publish, edit, add label with correct case and publish again.

If more than one post has this label, you'll need to go to "Edit Posts", click on the label, click "all", remove label using "Label Actions" and then re-add it with correct case.

  1. Hello,

Your blog has been recommended to us as a interviewee's favorite blog!

We would like to do an interview with you about your blog for Blog
    Interviewer. We'd
like to give you the opportunity to
give us some insight on the "person behind the blog."

It would just take a few minutes of your time. The interview form can
be submitted online here Submit your
    interview.

    Best regards,

    Mike Thomas

  2. Interesting, but that is so annoying lol.. The autofill of the labels makes it really annoying to change the case! Also, when someone does a search, what are the chances that they would capitalize a proper noun? So, basically you're suggesting that labels should never be capitalized at all?

  3. Doesn't look like you understood a single word of what I said...

You CAN NOT change case if label is in use. You first have to remove it from everywhere.

Labels are not meta keywords. They are used for grouping similar posts. Not to mention most search engines ignore meta keywords.

I'm suggesting that when using the RSS feed with a label filter, care should be taken to remember that blogger labels are case sensitive.
